LA VIDA – Live a Self-determined Life
At LA VIDA, 500 colleagues in 30 teams based throughout Berlin are committed to supporting people with chronic or mental health conditions, addiction, and/or cognitive impairment.
Our mission: self-determined lives for our clients, respect, dignity, and social participation for everyone in the city.
You can find us in every neighbourhood in Berlin. From Spandau to Marzahn, LA VIDA is deeply rooted throughout the city. We offer local support right where it is needed, in the heart of the community.
LA VIDA provides advice and assistance for various needs, supporting people with challenges such as chronic or mental health conditions, homelessness, or addiction. Together, we find paths to improve quality of life and promote independence – right in the heart of the neighborhood.
LA VIDA originates with the merger of four established organisations with up to 50 years of experience in providing integration assistance in Berlin: ADV gGmbH, GamBe, ZeitRaum, and ZIK. As of January 1, 2025, these organisations are united under the LA VIDA gGmbH.
